Job Title: High Power Systems Manager - Industrial & Automotive Gate Drivers

Location: Dortmund

A unique opportunity has become available: High Power Systems Manager leading a team of engineers focused on industrial and automotive gate drives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Compile technical specifications for gate driver designs.
  • Design gate drivers, select suitable components, and evaluate designs.
  • Layout printed circuit boards and provide production data for external manufacturing partners.
  • Evaluate gate driver designs at low and high voltages.
  • Review competitor products.
  • Compile and review gate driver documentation in Chinese and English.
  • Visit customers for support and demand creation (in conjunction with Sales).

General Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to Sales and Marketing.
  • Bridge communication between customers, sales, and marketing.
  • Present technical papers at conferences.
  • Attend exhibitions as a technical peer.
  • Conduct training for internal and external customers.

To be considered for this opportunity, you should possess a degree in electronics or electrical engineering or a related discipline and have experience in the following:

  • Deep experience in power electronics, especially related to gate drivers and inverter systems, as well as IGBT and MOSFET technologies.
  • Circuit design and layout experience using CAD systems (e.g., Altium Designer).
  • Characterization of gate drivers, power semiconductors, and inverter systems.

Soft Skills:

  • Capabilities in managing and leading people.
  • Proven capability in leading complex projects and interfacing with different teams.
  • Ability to understand and execute marketing and go-to-market strategies.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Ability to promote and create demand with customers.
