Job Summary:
We seek a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Manager specialising in power supplies and magnetics. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, excellent sales skills, and a proven track record in driving business growth. This role involves managing customer relationships, providing technical support, and achieving sales targets for our client's range of power supplies and magnetic products.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the power supplies and magnetics market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, industry partners, and stakeholders.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's overall growth strategy.
Technical Support and Consultation:
- Provide technical expertise and support to customers, ensuring the optimal selection and application of power supplies and magnetic products.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for customers and partners.
- Address technical inquiries and troubleshoot product-related issues in collaboration with the engineering team.
Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to capture market share and drive revenue growth.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the engineering, marketing, and product development teams to align sales efforts with company goals.
- Provide feedback to the product development team on customer needs and potential product improvements.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and presentations to senior management.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving.
- Manage the sales pipeline, track opportunities, and ensure timely follow-up on leads and customer inquiries.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the power supplies and magnetics industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of power supply and magnetic products and their applications.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
