Systems Engineer - Power Electronics

Job Description:
As a Systems Engineer specializing in Power Electronics, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the development and compliance of cutting-edge products with international standards and customer specifications. Your responsibilities will span from requirements derivation to coordination with cross-functional teams, facilitating testing, and ensuring safety compliance.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Derive system requirements based on various international standards such as IEC61010, IEC61000, IEC62311, and customer specifications.
- Identify and define requirements for system components, ensuring alignment with overall system goals.
- Facilitate and coordinate cross-functional teams throughout the requirements definition, analysis, review, and release processes.
- Provide support for Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and safety risk assessments to ensure product safety and reliability.
- Define and review specific test cases for systems and components in collaboration with our testing department, ensuring comprehensive validation.
What You Bring:
- A completed master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field, providing you with a strong theoretical foundation.
- Extensive experience in product development for industrial applications, demonstrating your practical expertise.
- Profound knowledge of diverse UL and IEC standards such as IEC61010, IEC61000, IEC62311, ensuring compliance and quality in product design.
- Experience in functional safety management (ISO 26262), ensuring products meet safety requirements.
- Experience in instrumentation, measurement, calibration, and laboratory testing, essential for comprehensive validation and verification.
- Proficiency in requirements engineering tools such as Reqsuite, Doors, PTC Integrity, etc., enabling efficient requirements management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, allowing you to effectively convey technical information and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Fluent in English (mandatory); German language skills are a plus, facilitating communication in our multinational environment.
