About the Role

Our client, a well-established electronics manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team. This is a hands-on role covering RMA investigations, supplier quality, NPI and manufacturing readiness, and continuous improvement of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System. You will work closely with EMS manufacturing partners, Engineering and customers to drive product quality, yield and process capability across the business.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead product failure investigations (RMA) and root cause analysis.
  • Drive supplier corrective actions and monitor effectiveness.
  • Work closely with EMS manufacturing partners to improve quality, yields and process capability.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI), PPAP and manufacturing readiness.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
  • Conduct supplier and internal audits as required.
  • Support customer quality inquiries and technical investigations.
  • Manage quality documentation, Engineering Change Orders, and Empower PLM workflows.
  • Monitor field quality trends and implement preventive actions.
  • Work closely with Engineering to improve product robustness and manufacturability.

 

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Engineering degree (Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical or Manufacturing preferred).
  • 5–10 years' experience in quality or supplier quality.
  • Experience with electronic manufacturing.
  • Root cause analysis (8D, CAPA, FMEA etc.).
  • ISO 9001.
  • Supplier audits and corrective actions.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Practical engineering mindset.

 

Desirable

  • Medical device or power electronics experience.
  • IPC-A-610 knowledge.
  • Environmental compliance awareness.
  • PLM / ERP systems.
