Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Power Supply Design Engineer to join our client’s team in Dublin. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing DC-DC and AC-DC converters for medical applications.

As a Senior Power Supply Design Engineer, you will work on power levels up to a kilowatt and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. You will also collaborate with other engineers, project managers and customers to deliver innovative and reliable solutions.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

- A bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering or related field

- At least 5 years of experience in power supply design, preferably for medical applications

- Proficient in using simulation tools such as SPICE, MATLAB, etc.

- Knowledge of power electronics topologies, components, and control methods

- Familiarity with medical device regulations and standards such as IEC 60601, UL 60950, etc.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills
