Senior Power Electronics Engineer – New Product Definition

Location: Biel

As a Senior Power Electronics Engineer, you’ll be crucial in designing, developing, and testing compelling IC-based and board products from inception to product delivery.

This role offers collaboration with our client's low-power solutions team, focusing on IC-level products for AC/DC power converters.

You will be responsible for:

• Defining and developing power IC and board products.
• Idea and concept generation.
• Validate new topology products using simulation tools.
• Design next-generation power supplies.

To be considered for this Senior Power Electronics Engineer opportunity, the successful candidates will require a degree in electrical engineering alongside a proven background in the following:

• Power conversion topologies from 5 to 200 Watts, including flyback, forward, and half-bridge.
• Tools for simulation.
• Understanding of EMC regulations
• Understanding of high voltage gate drives.
